Where does your inspiration come from?
My Inspiration comes from my mood in the moment since I can remember my mood and art have gone hand in hand along with colour having a dark mind compelled my to make my art as colourful as possible.
Tell us about your creative process.
My creative process starts with a flood of ideas so I sit with my tiny moleskin sketchbook with headphones in and pens and I just draw until the emotions and ideas vanish. That’s how I know I’ve drawn the right final piece then I zone in my bubble and the final image is made.
What is the story behind your artwork, if any?
With my recent battle with depression, I discovered it is hidden in my art especially when I use my art to highlight my emotion. In my typography work and my girl with a gun I was in a dark place and someone said to me “Depression can’t be that bad there’s no such thing” and cos of my illness I just couldn’t express myself so for my family I created the artwork you see so they could understand the stuff in my brain.
